Telda, an Egyptian online bank, is the easiest and fastest way to send, spend and save money with an aim to provide everyone with access to important financial services.
We approached this brand exercise through analysing the brand’s namesake, the Tilde symbol. In some languages, the tilde symbol is used as a diacritical mark ( ˜ ) placed over a letter to indicate change in pronunciation, such as nasalization. Similarly, Telda is an agent of change to its surrounding environment; changing a traditional banking experience into a different and elevated one. The mark was used throughout the brand’s applications along with textures and a color palette that convey a constant state of transformation.
