Filmmydesign (FMD) is the first and only design-film festival in the SWANA region, taking place in Cairo, Egypt. Leveraging Egypt’s strong, long-standing connection to the film world, FMD’s mission centers on telling inspiring, engaging, and thought-provoking design stories using film; the most universal language of visual storytelling.

We approached this brand through combining two main layers. The first layer reflects the magical, indulging, captivating and mystifying feel associated with film as a medium through utilizing a digital chromatic texture. The second layer is heavily based on utilitarian, explanatory and an almost scientific layout, setting a tone of how much the brand appreciates documentation as a method to study whichever design subject in hand.
