A World Unplugged is a bilingual publication dealing with individual stories post-COVID19 and the prospect of plugging/unplugging in both a literal and figurative sense. The publication contains meditations on isolation, mental health, tragedy and escapism.
Designing the publication was inspired by the common theme of mankind versus technology and the ramifications of social media in a world plagued by a pandemic, with visuals of TV static, pixelated motifs and a visual narration of postmodern cyber culture.
