“Saqr’s Eclipse” is a 20 minute-long narrative produced by Kerning Cultures Network that functions as a multi-layered thriller series set for a podcast. The eight episodes of the series are about celebrity travel blogger Faisal Saqr’s adventure in the Empty Quarter - Rub’ al Khali (in Saudi Arabia) leading a group of extreme sport travelers to one of the most dangerous spots; a once in a lifetime adventure to witness the unique Total Eclipse of the Sun.
Given the eerie undertones that are consistent throughout the series, the Arabic lettering for the title alludes to sinister visual cues such as the orbital movements of celestial bodies - namely the sun and the moon during an eclipse cycle - which are at the center of the plotline, during which the protagonist embarks on a race against the cosmos.
